Becoming a Mother

What do you think of 'Becoming a Mother'? Or What do you think about 'Being a Mother'? Becoming a mother is not easy but very difficult, and it is said the pain of giving birth to a baby is like returning from the brink of death.

Thus a few mothers choose to get a Cesarean section to reduce the pain of laboring. Nonetheless most of mothers insist on natural childbirth, even though they're provided any drugs to relieve the pain. It is because a Cesarean section might cause the serious potential side effects to a baby and after being given birth, not have a time with his mom right away.

Isa 13:8 Terror will seize them, pain and anguish will grip them; they will writhe like a woman in labor.

It is believed that the laboring pain can be compared to the sky looking pale in all directions, and usually the moms after giving birth announce she would never do the same again.

How about our Spiritual Mother, Jerusalem Heavenly Mother? She has borne us, the sinners, with love and sacrifice and willingly gives us eternal life without requiring cost, even stays up all nights taking caring of our souls.

Isa 49:15~16 Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you! See, I have engraved you on the palms of my hands.

Our Heavenly Mother determined being a Mother of sinners and has never expressed the regret about it, rather be proud of Her children. Thanks be to Heavenly Mother for becoming my Mother and being a Mother until the end of the earth.
