[Basic] The Passover (5) - The Passover Containing God's Love and Sacrifce

When we mention about God's love and sacrifice by which we're saved from our sins and transgressions, we recall His tears shedding for us like the drops of sweat.

There is a deeper pain. What is more painful than shedding tears is bleeding. Jesus already knew that He would shed His blood and tear His flesh on the cross so that He instructed His disciples to set the Passover with bread and wine that was to give life to His children.

Mt 26:26~28 While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

If God said with just words, "I'll save you" and didn't do anything, it didn't take any effect. Jesus Christ laid His life on the cross by shedding the blood and tearing the flesh in order to put His love and sacrifice into the Passover bread and wine. Therefore whenever we eat bread and drink wine, we really feel our God's love and sacrifice.

Then let's ask one question to ourselves. How can we, the sinners, repay God for giving us life freely by shedding His blood and tearing His flesh? It is to lead many to the righteousness according to the Bible.

Lk 15:6 In the same way there will be more rejoicing in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who do not need to repent.

Let them keep the Passover containing God's true love and sacrifice and feel God's boundless love and sacrifice.
