The Blessings of the Sabbath Day

God promised us to give the abundant blessings through the Sabbath Day and make us God's children whenever we keep it holy. God could designated all the seven days as His holy days and blessed them, but He chose only A day, the seventh day and called the Sabbath and made it holy and appointed it the Lord's Day.

Ex 20: 10~11 The Seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.

The Lord's Day refers to the Sabbath Day because God Elohim created the heavens and the earth, so They are only worthy of being called as the 'Creators'.

Mt 12:7 "For the Son of Man[Jesus] is Lord of the Sabbath."

Furthermore there is a big secret in the Sabbath. Just as God created all the creatures and the whole universe for six days and rested on the seventh day from all His works of creation, He planned the eternal rest of the seventh-thousand-year in the kingdom of heaven after the six thousand years of the work of redemption would be finished, because He knew the end of our souls from the beginning.

Heb 4:9~11 There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God's rest also rests from his own work, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will fall by following their example of disobedience.

It is the everlasting rest. And a Sabbath-rest is only for the people of God Elohim and only God's children are given the right to enter Their rest in heaven. Just keeping the Sabbath Days in the earth seems to be very simple and not be special, however it is to practice for the everlasting rest of the Sabbath-rest in heaven. If we skip the attending the service of the Sabbath, we would fail to enter the heavenly country. Therefore we have to hold onto to the Sabbath every week and surely go back to our spiritual home in the Sabbath-rest.
