Mr. Smile - Abundant Blessing of the Passover
We are living in the world hearing lots of news about disasters and accidents. Always they occur around the world. We can't control them when they come to us. We just receive them. But God promises that He will protect us from disasters if we keep the Passover of the New covenant.
Then, which church does keep the Passover of the new covenant according to God's teaching? There are thousands of churches in the world. How can we distinguish the church that keeps the Passover that Jesus established among many churches? To get to the point, only World Mission Society Church of God keeps the Passover in accordance with the bible.
The bible clearly says that God commands us to keep the Passover until the end of the world.
Ex 12:10~14 Do not leave any of it till morning; if some is left till morning, you must burn it. This is how you are to eat it: with your cloak tucked into your belt, your sandals on your feet and your staff in your hand. Eat it in haste; it is the LORD's Passover.
"On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn--both men and animals--and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.
The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."This is a day you are to commemorate; for the generations to come you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD -a lasting ordinance.
Mt 26:17~19 On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?" He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at your house.' " So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.
Who commanded us to keep the Passover? Comparing above verses it is God. God orders us to keep the Passover in the New Testament as well as in the Old Testament.
God the Son Jesus ordered us to keep the Passover in the New testament.
Next, when do we have to celebrate the Passover? There is the certain date of the Passover. It is on the 14th Nisan at twilight according to the sacred calendar. When we keep the Passover on the appointed date, God gives us blessings. If we keep the Passover on the another date we can not receive blessings.
Ex 12:6 Take care of them until the fourteenth day of the month, when all the people of the community of Israel must slaughter them at twilight.
Lastly, what kinds of blessings do we receive when we keep the Passover according to Jesus' teaching? God wants us to give abundant blessings through the Passover. That's why He orders us to keep the Passover of the New Covenant. When we keep it, we will receive following blessings.
1. eternal life
Jn 6:53~54 Jesus said to them, "I tell you the truth, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you. Whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood has eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day.
2. forgiveness of our sins
Mt 26:28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.
3. disasters pass over
Ex 12:23 When the LORD goes through the land to strike down the Egyptians, he will see the blood on the top and sides of the doorframe and will pass over that doorway, and he will not permit the destroyer to enter your houses and strike you down.
Nowadays disasters and accidents happen frequently over the world. We can feel, see, and experience them through a lot of mass media. The Passover is God's certain promise that disasters pass over you. The date of the Passover is coming. Come to the Church of God and keep the Passover together!

ReplyDeleteWorld Mission Society Church of God is the only church celebrate the Passover new covenant according to God's teaching! We must go there and keep it so that we can receive abundant blessings, which promised by God Almighty!
