Synergy - What is Eternal?

Do you know what eternal means?~ I looked up the word eternal in the dictionary today, to find out what the exact meaning of the word is. It is written that it means lasting or existing forever and without end. Then, I wondered and thought to myself about what lasts forever, eternally without end. Majority of the people in this world think that nothing lasts forever, nothing is eternal. But, what if I tell you that, that's exactly not true. And that the answer is in the bible.

Isaiah 40:6~7 "All men are like grass, and all their glory is like the flowers of the field. The grass withers and the flowers fall, because the breath of the Lord blows on them. Surely the people are grass. The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God stands forever.

Nothing under heaven lasts forever because all one day withers and all are temporary. The only One that lasts and is eternal is God. One out of the many everlasting promises He gave us, would be the new heaven and the new earth.

Revelation 21:1~4 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea...He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away."

New heaven and new earth, in another words "Heaven". How beautiful will it be?~ Yes, everything in this world doesn't last forever. One day you are born and one you will die. One day you're happy and another day you're not. One day you are young and filled with youth but soon you will grow old. It is part of nature but nothing under heaven lasts forever. And God gave us, mankind, a gift a chance. Through His everlasting words He gave us hope. Hope for the lasting, hope for the eternal.
