Where should we go to escape from disaster?

We hear news of disaster everyday, and many people prepare their own way to escape from the disaster. But with human's power, it is impossible to escape from the disaster.

Imagine that if disaster happens before me, what can you do? and where will you go?

Histories written in the bible give us the direction before the disaster happens to us.

In the time of Noah, there was warning of great disaster on this earth, since the world was so corrupted in the eyes of God.

Ge 6:5-7 The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time..."I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, fro the face of the earth-men and animals,...."

However, before the disaster in order to save Noah, God commanded him what should he do, and where should he go.

Ge 6:14-20 "So make yourself an ark of cypress wood,...you will enter the ark... come to you to be kept alive."

The place of salvation was the ark and Noah and his family could escape from the disasters by obeying the words of God.

Also in the time of Lot, there was the way for Lot in order to be saved from the disaster.

Ge 18:20 Then the LORD said, "The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so grievous.

But, this time too, God prepared certain place in order to save Lot and his daughters.

Ge 19:12-22 "... we are going to destroy this place...."Flee for your lives...Flee or you will be swept away!"...(That is why the town was called Zoar.)

The place of salvation was the City of Zoar and by the grace of God Lot and his two daughters could be save.

What about in this age?

There are so many disaster are happening all over the world, where should we go? and what should we do ?

There is a place for God's people to gather in order to escape from the disaster in this age too.

Jer 4:5-6 "Let us flee to the fortified cities! Raise the signal to go to Zion! Flee for safety without delay! For I am bringing disaster from the north, even terrible destruction."

Isa 33:20-22 Look upon Zion, the city of our festivals...the LORD is our king; it is he who will save us.

We should go the Zion, where God's festivals are celebrate in.

Then, in Zion what should we do?

Ex 12:11-14 "...it is the LORD's Passover... I will bring judgement on all the gods of Egypt...The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are, and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you... you shall celebrate it as a festival to the LORD- a lasting ordinance."

God made plan to protect God's people, that was Passover.

Through out the ages, we can also check that the power of the Passover.

When people of God celebrate the Passover, disaster pass over them according to the promise of God. 

In this age too, we must celebrate the Passover.

Even Jesus Christ who is our God almighty came down this earth and established the New covenant of the Passover in Zion.

Lk 22:15-20 "I have eagerly desire to eat this Passover with you before I suffer." ... And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying "This is my body given for you....This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."

According to teaching of Jesus, we must keep the New covenant Passover so that we can receive the promise of God's salvation.

In the world, there is only one church keeps the Passover as well as all the God's festivals.
That is the World Mission Society Church of God.

Please come to Zion and let's keep the Passover before great disaster upon us.
